THANK YOU FOR VISITING OUR SITE

If you wish to get ahold of us to report a rare turtle sighting or suspected poaching event or other form of harm to turtles or their habitat, we strongly encourage you to first report this to the wildlife agency in your state. For example, in Maine, please go to https://www.maine.gov/ifw/about/contact/index.html.

If you find an injured turtle that clearly needs medical assistance (most minor injuries will heal just fine) please contact a local wildlife rehabilitation facility. For example, in Maine, please contact the Center for Wildlife (https://www.thecenterforwildlife.org) at 207-361-1400.

If you wish to volunteer on our project please be aware that due to the pandemic we have modified our plans for the 2021 field season, and are unlikely to accept any new volunteers at this time.
